I built the stand I exhibited at Lucca Art Fair around two themes, which are actually two exhibition projects to be developed further: “Classical Misogyny” and “Elements of Unnatural History.”
The first, subtitled “Patriarchal Myths,” shows how in the classical age, discrimination against women was considered so natural that it was constantly present in myth.
To support this statement, I focus on the figures, creating sculptures that present moments in their stories, of three famous women from Greek mythology: Pasiphae, Ariadne, and Iphigenia
